It is also near the Messe station and exhibition centre, perfect for those attending conferences or fairs. The staff members are helpful and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms are cozy and well-equipped, with amenities such as a big TV screen and minibar. The breakfast offers a variety of options, including cold cuts, cheeses, breads, fruits, and made-to-order eggs.

Some initial staff interactions lacked helpful explanations, but this was eventually resolved with assistance from locals.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the mini fridge and kettle in the room. The team at the hotel were polite and helpful, making me feel welcome. The location was ideal, with just a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. the hotel offered the convenient option of storing my bag on my last day, which saved me a lot of hassle.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, as it was right next to the subway and bus stops, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. It only took me about 5 minutes to walk to the bustling shopping street, and around 20 minutes to reach the main railway station and cathedral. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, both in the rooms and public areas. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. I particularly enjoyed the hotel bar, which served excellent drinks in a lovely setting, both indoors and on the patio.

The location of Mercure was excellent, situated in my favorite neighborhood where you feel like a local. It was convenient for exploring the city, with the Lanxess Arena just two metro stops away and the city center within a 20-minute walk. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Cologne.
